Saturday afternoon, police were dispatched to the Mathis Brothers Skate Park, 1201 W. Covell Road, in reference to vandalism, according to a report filed by Edmond Police Officer Christopher Nelson. Police said the vandal or vandals had spray painted several areas of the skate park, and the black paint was not there the previous day. In one area, two eyes, a nose and a mouth with white teeth with what appeared to be a marijuana joint coming out from the corner of the mouth, and the words Poke Smot were written underneath, police said. In another, the graffiti consisted of the words Cotton Candy. The o in cotton candy was part of an ice cream cone design. In another area, the graffiti consisted of a stick figure with horns holding a pitchfork is surrounded by flames and nearby the words For Satan written above a pentagram. A 6 on the three points of the pentagram made a 666 design. At the bottom of the skate bowl the words One Love were written below a marijuana leaf. Police were inquiring with Edmond school resource officers to see if they were familiar with any of these designs.
