Robber Takes Tip Jar From SW Okla. City Sub Shop

Seen on <a></a> Police are looking for an armed robber who got away with a tip jar from a sandwich shop in southwest Oklahoma City. Officers were called to Jersey Mike's Subs, in the 6800 block of Southwest Third Street, about 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 25 about a robbery. Police said the robber -- described as a white man in his 30s, standing 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing 170 pounds -- had initially entered the business at 10 a.m. that day and conversed with the clerk before leaving. The robber returned, police said, and purchased a sandwich. After eating it, the robbery approached the clerk, took a tip jar sitting on the counter and informed the clerk that he had a gun. Police said a weapon was not visible. The robber walked out and drove away in a black 2010 or 2011 four-door Honda Accord. He was last seen driving westbound on Southwest Third Street.
