Pat Calhoun said. A knife-wielding man jumped out of the passenger seat and a brawl erupted. The victim, whose name was not released, was stabbed several times in the chest before the man returned to the vehicle and fled, Calhoun said. Witnesses said the attacker and victim, 33, knew each other and were involved in an ongoing dispute. Friends of the injured man loaded him into a vehicle and sped away from the scene to an apartment near 41st Street and Garnett Road, where they called for help, Calhoun said.
