Eagletown Poachers Sought

Event Details:
Oklahoma Game Wardens are seeking the public's assistance. Early in the morning of Sunday November 27th, hunters on a lease north of Eagletown discovered four deer were dumped in the middle of a camp road. Several pounds of nails were deposited in the roadway as well. State Game Warden Mark Hannah is investigating the crime. One small buck was shot through the shoulder and none of the meat was harvested. The three other deer had only the back straps removed. Two of the bucks also had their heads removed. A small feral hog was also dumped on the road. It was reported to the warden that a disagreement between a lease member and a person trespassing earlier may have instigated the incident. The suspect trespassing has yet to be identified. If you have any information regarding this crime, please contact your local game warden.
