Armed robber hits two Tulsa hotels

Randy Solomon said police are looking for a 5 feet 10 inch tall, skinny black male with a thin mustache wearing shorts and a hooded sweatshirt and carrying a semi-automatic pistol. The suspect allegedly robbed the Tulsa Inn and Suites near Memorial Drive and East Skelly Drive about 10:30 and then robbed the Red Roof Inn in the 4700 block of South Yale Avenue about two miles away, Solomon said. Police report the suspect fled the scene in a brown, 80's model Chevrolet Caprice or Mercury Grand Marquis. The man was last seen going west, he said. Witnesses report the man walked in with the gun and yelled, "Give me your money," Solomon said. No one was hurt in either robbery, and the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money, he said.
