Armed robber hits Tulsa Chinese restaurant

Police said the masked robber carried a silver handgun into the No. 1 Kitchen restaurant at 1643 N. Lewis Ave. and demanded money about 9:30 p.m. An employee complied, and the man fled on foot. No injuries were reported. The robber was described as black, around 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. Anyone with information about the robber is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS. Tipsters also can go online at tulsaworld.com/crimestoppers to send a tip or a text message. The Crime Commission pays rewards for information leading to arrests, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
