Scams

Five Point Capital?

Has anyone heard of them? My employer recieved a solicitaion by mail from them. He replied back. Something to do with a Lease Buy Back program.

I looked at their web site, (same name with a .com) but it didn't give refferences. I thought maybe some of (or one :) ) of you wonderful scam investistigators could help me in finding out more info on them. Are they legit? Is this a real company for businesses to get working capital?

I would hate for my employer to end up tied to some loan sharks or getting everything he owns carted off.

Craigslist 'employment' offers

First it was the car scams offering fairly new, decent cars for a really low price. Now, it's employment ads. They offer unusually high salaries and are often very generic and you are asked to apply to a gmail, gmx, in, live or yahoo account - almost instantly you get a response asking you to complete an employment application. Here is one example of such an ad:

M.O.R.E. Inc? Anyone have any experience with these people?

I have purchased several of their programs. The last one, the $100,000 per month has now cost me well over $6000 and I followed their recomendations to the letter. He wrote a 184 page book (sales letter) on how to make $900 per day to give away free BUT you have to advertise nationally to get people to order the book. He requires you to listen to him for 15 minutes (qualifying you). I sent out over 2000 giant postcards (cost $2075). I did get one sign up but it was a 2UP program and the big moey went up to MORE. I got $300 total return. He has made $100 million in 17 years. so watch out.

Cash On Demand

I have been recieving the Cash on Demand system for about 6 months.

The information he gives seems good, and the theories appear to be accurate.

At the end of the day though it is only information. Since I have been recieving the modules he has tried to get me to be a 'Business Partner'! This would cost me about £2000.

The main temptation to join him is the offer of having good quality informational products to sell.

To summerize, I have found the information very informative, but have struggled to implement it as it seems very difficult to find any decent products to sell.

Mailing List...Scam or not?

I have a question about this letter that I received in the mail today. Basically it is a mailing list ordering system. I send $1 to six people on this letter. Then I add my name to number 6 and then copy the two page letter 200 times. Then I order a list of 200 names from a company and then send these letters to the people on the list. It says that I will receive over 800,000 dollars in as little as 90 days.
