Description

Police said they are asking Edmond residents to be on the lookout for a suspicious van seen possibly following children as they get off a school bus in their neighborhoods.

Glynda Chu, spokeswoman for the Edmond Police Department, said Edmond Public Schools has received two calls from concerned parents regarding this van, once this week and once last week.

On Jan. 17, a van was seen in the Coffee Creek addition on Birdsong, Chu said. The addition is south of Coffee Creek Road between Kelly and Broadway. Police said the van was described as being white or gray with blue lettering with the number 784 written on the back, possibly part of a phone number. The driver was described as being a white male in his late 30s with a beard, police said.
