The students brought a car to get it fixed assuming that the ball joint was broken. The auto shop owner said to the students that the car was fixed. The students drove the car off the lot just to hear the ball joint making banging sounds. When the students confronted the auto shop owner, he refused to refund their money of 110€ (150 u.s dollars).
He said he looked at it and its not his fault that the car is old and he doesn't want to strip everything down. But he charged 110 euros just to look at it. Now, the guy stated on the receipt that he did fix it, he changed parts etc. So the students have the actual receipt report. Currently the students have filed a complaint to the court and with the police. In addition, the man was yelling racists comments and told the international degree students to get the hell out of his country and go back to their own county. So, a discrimination and racism complaint was also filed.
Student of the university are made aware of this scam artist.
