OKLA. CITY — Stolen Deer Creek High School senior photographs and rental movies “Half Baked,” “Evil Bong 3: The Wrath of Bong,” “What’s Your Number?” “Fast Five” and “Warrior” are part of a Deer Creek area burglary, police said.
Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Mark Myers said the agency is seeking assistance from the public to identify two persons of interest related to the incident. A video and surveillance image connected to the incident have been released by sheriff’s office.
On March 25, several cars were burglarized in the 21000 block of Landmark Road in Deer Creek, Myers said. The suspects stole several items including three credit cards, he said.
In the brief video clip, the males walk in together one with dark hair wearing a jacket with a white T-shirt and white shorts; the second male is wearing a long-sleeved blue T-shirt and blue jeans.
One of the credit cards was used at a Walmart located near North MacArthur and Reno, Myers said. Store surveillance video captured images of two males using the card to make unauthorized purchases, Myers said.
In the report filed by Deputy Michael Coburn, items listed as stolen were a Canon 5D Mark II camera body, a Canon EF 24-105mm L series, a 32 GB SanDisk flash memory, a Canon battery charger, a Canon DSLR battery, a DSLR storage bag, a 16 GB computer flash memory, a Coach leather wallet, an Arvest debit card, a Chase bank card, a vertical scanner with a bag of photographs, a Falcon tote bag, a 4-inch palm sander, miscellaneous tools, a Garmin GPS unit and a garage door opener. Total loss was valued at $5,528, according to the police reports.
Police said the scanner bag contained Putnam City North and Deer Creek High School senior and baby photographs.
Arvest and Chase notified the victim about unusual purchases on his accounts, police said. On March 25 alone, three of the stolen cards were used at stores including 7-Eleven, Walmart, a smoke shop, Dollar General, Sonic and Family Dollar, police said. The movies were ordered with a business card from Red Box videos, police said.
